I actually posted 4 or 5 years ago. Just thought about the game again.

Here is a list with old Red Faction clans, I think these are all clans from when I played:

http://www.redfactionview.net/clanlinks.htm

||SiK|| The Sikness - Good TDM and ISM clan
hA Hitman Assassins - Good ISM clan, remember a player named WhiteWolf
.eSA| electro Sports AllianZ - Good European CTF/railing clan
.X| Xtreme Clan - Clan I was in, good European CTF/railing clan
<[LDS]> Last Defence Squad - Same people as .X| but the older clan
[EG] Endless Gaming - Had a railing and normal squad
:DZ: DevilZ - TDM/DM clan
[EVIL) EVolution ILlegal - French CTF clan I think
[JtB] Jones Town Boyz - TDM clan
<L-S> Lost Souls - Big CTF clan with a lot of members
[PS] Phat Shootaz - Good CTF clan, later started playing CS: Source
[SoC] Squadron of Chaos - older clan I knew one guy from [SoC]Pimmetje
||Z|S|| ZiL|SuceSS - TDM clan
HK/HKC Hardcore Killa Clan - Aussie Clan I joined in the beginning when I started playing

All these clans were active when I was playing. Anybody else played in this time?

I definitely played during that time, and I remember most of the names. What name(s) did you play under?

PS. Come join us on [Discord] :D Most of the old players who are still active are there.

I just joined.

I had a lot of different names. I was a young fella, changed my names a few time. I do not remember them. One I remember is KrazyLord which I used when I played ISM for a while.

I played in .X| for the most part. We became pretty good. I was in contact with the leader (N1ghtmare) for a long time. I think his name was David.

On Red Faction I played railing for a while when that got popular. I remember KoJaK, .eSA|Neophyte, .eSA|Hard, .X|Fatal1ty/N1ghtmare, [PS]Barney, [PS]BeF', [PS]FeB', [JtB]/.X|RoNaLDO, [SoC]Pimmetje, <L-S>Sharon, *HKC*BUSTA,

Played with mostly European people. Dutch, Belgians, Germans, English, French. But I also played with some aussies in the beginning when I started Red Faction.

I found this old ESL ladder by .eSA|:

https://play.eslgaming.com/allianceofvaliantarms/global/ava-dogtag/5on5-demolition-3-europe/team/1137339/

That ladder is registered since 2005. For some reason it is under "AVA" but I think this is wrong. I think I still played then as well. I think I probably played from 2002-2005.

I think around 2005 I quit Red Faction and started playing Call of Duty: United Offensive on a competetive level. Also a great game with great memories. Red Faction for me was the start but Call of Duty: United Offensive was better for competition, tournaments, etc.

I still follow some gaming like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive which is really good for competition.

I was with <L-S> Lost Souls from 2004. Then went with a few of the founding members when they formed {BIA} and we started playing Counter Strike, but eventually they decided to play serious competition. And I've always just been in it for the fun and laughs, so I eventually left.
Miss those fun days in both clans. :17:

Still find me in a server playing RF though. :01:

It was an interesting period.

There was a moment in Red Faction where clans went from Red Faction to CounterStrike: Source starting from the beta version.

I was in .X| (Xtreme Clan) and we went to CounterStrike: Source as well but I did not have the game yet for at least another year after release. So we had a Red Faction squad and a Source squad. I took care mostly of the Red Faction squad but eventually I think it was only a Source clan. They got fairly good as well. While I never got into the game.

[PS] Phat Shootaz went to Source as well.

I used to be part of the <L-S> clan and I remember Sharon and Otter.

It used to be a great game. Anyone still play? I'm feeling like getting back into it during this isolation time!

Yes, people still play Lost Soul!

There is a RF "Game Night" periodically -it is announced on the Discord FF "channel"

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?

Hey guys!
RF is alive and well, and the best member of <L-S> Lost Souls still plays. Bonus trivia points to Oddball if he knows who I am talking about...

Hey there. As Oddball said, we run biweekly RF Game Night events for the community to all come out and play together. To play, join the RF Community Discord: https://discord.gg/fRrUzuV (also a link at the top of this page)

Each week has a different theme - we've had rail events, CTF events, events with movie themed maps, etc. This week, the 14th event is all Goober maps. Here's the trailer for this week's event:

I remember |Z|S|. They also used to play on demo version circa 2004 or so. MIG was there around that time as well.
