The 2018 Red Faction Rally is on track for this Saturday (Dec 15). We hope to see you there, it's shaping up to be a great time!

Maps were selected for the rally to showcase some of the best stock maps, and maps from the best community level designers from across Red Faction's 17 year lifetime. The map list has been finalized and is listed below. I recommend you download and install the maps before the rally to save time (map pack link below). If you choose to not, you can download them as they come up as long as you're running Pure Faction.
If you're not sure how to install custom maps, I've included a quick explanation at the bottom of this post.

Installing custom multiplayer Red Faction maps
1. Download the map - it will likely come in an archive (.zip, .rar, .7z, etc.)
2. Open the archive (if you can't open it, install 7Zip - https://www.7-zip.org/)
3. Extract all .vpp files within the archive to your \user_maps\multi folder.
For Steam users, the default is C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\red faction\user_maps\multi
For non-Steam users, the default is C:\games\RedFaction\user_maps\multi
4. Restart your game after the extraction is complete to force the game to load the newly installed maps

Looks like a comprehensive list and looks exciting, looking forward to it. I personally don't DM much but it looks like a good map rotation for everyone to enjoy.
