Getting this error after installation.

GetDeviceCap fail, check you have DirectX8 installed correctly.

Please advise what to do regarding this

First I installed the latest one PUREFACTION 3.0 D, it showed the same error, then I installed the old one 3.0 and 3.0c and still its giving same error

Are you running the game in full screen mode? If so, try stretched or window mode and see if that gives the same error.

make sure you're set to a resolution that your monitor can handle and don't forget to click save settings
