If you have updated to Pure Faction 3.0d, you can ignore this message.

Automatic map downloader support for Pure Faction 2.x, 3.0, and 3.0c is being discontinued 2016/01/01 due to a clientside bug that requires a special server running outdated software to serve these clients.
Please update to Pure Faction 3.0d to ensure map downloads remain available for you!

If you are running Pure Faction 3.0d, the autodownloader will continue to work. You don't need to do anything. If you have updated Pure Faction since May 2015 you are likely on the latest version.

If you are running any of these old versions:
Pure Faction 2.x
Pure Faction 3.0
Pure Faction 3.0c
You will need to update to Pure Faction 3.0d to retain autodownload capability.

To check your version, open the console (~ key) and type ver. Additionally, PFLauncher will display an update dialog if you are outdated, and will display a message at the bottom of the window if you are up to date.

Old versions of Pure Faction will continue to work and will remain available on the PF site, but will not be able to autodownload maps.
