That's atrocious. Still, from what I understand there is a mixture of high/low poly models in the game. Surely the higher poly cars are less disappointing?

I'll get around to plugging in my PS3 and have a look eventually but that really isn't great. I've never been too anal about graphics however and for the past nine years I've played everything except GW with hilariously low quality settings.

If the multiplayer is any good it could be somewhat entertaining for me. I enjoyed participating in the ad-hoc online time trial tournaments that floated around the GT community. Obviously these were a pain in the ass, because you needed a fucking game-shark to upload your demos. Was still fun.

If the frame-rate drops are especially bad then I won't be able to play it at all though. Coping with 60Hz is really difficult for me after all these years of playing games with at least 120Hz, so if it drops significantly I won't bother with it.

PlayStation 3's were released about four years ago now. Old technology. Only the truly ignorant would expect great graphics.
