I'm wondering if anyone knows any super cool ways of packing up RFG xtbl's. I'm finding it quite slow to compile the file (misc.vpp_pc) i tried to make it compile to table.vpp_pc (just the xtbls) but the changes did not make it into the game some how. So is there a quicker way than compiling the whole misc folder, which takes about 30 seconds.

As I recall, the reason that changes to table(s? can't remember).vpp didn't work was something to do with the compression. I honestly don't remember as I didn't do much RF:G modding. (in fact I don't think I did any... extracted and looked at lots of stuff but I don't think I modded anything myself )

I may be wrong, but I seem to recall that if you remove the tables from misc.vpp_pc and then edit tables.vpp_pc and save both as uncompressed vpp_pc files, it loaded from tables.vpp_pc.

May be wrong, but I'm pretty certain that worked.
