Create and edit Red Faction .vfx files directly in Blender. No 3ds Max required. Import existing VFX, modify meshes, add particle emitters, create morph animations with shape keys, and export working .vfx files for use in your levels. Includes visual quick reference guide and comprehensive documentation.
VERSION 0.6.1 UPDATE:
Fixed: Two hardcoded values in the exporter were forcing all meshes to appear fully lit in-game. Both now default to values matching stock RF VFX files (0.5 vertex color, 0.0 self-illumination). Fullbright flag correctly overrides both when enabled.
Fixed a few false errors in Readiness Check and various bugs.
Early release, we're still discovering the limits of the format. Feedback welcome on Discord.
