I decided to make a spooky version of my {DVL} IACs Desk 2 map ( https://www.factionfiles.com/ff.php?action=file&id=8025 ) for spooky season.
This is a Micro Map of my computer desk area, exactly how it was in 2006 (when I originally this map), just much gorier.
Changes in this version:
- Only light source is now the computer monitor.
- Rain background ambient sound.
- Periodic dynamic light lightening effects with random flash pattern.
- Randomly selected thunder sound to go with each lightening flash, with 14 options.
- Periodic randomly selected faint creepy sound with 13 options.
- New play area. (Noose rope and the top of the 2x4 that supports it)
- Couple more jump pads added.
- 1 more jump pad texture added, for more variety.
- Blood everywhere.
- Bloody knife model added to desk.
- Dead body in chair and body parts around the map flash in to view with the lightening.
- Creepy ambient track instead of upbeat music.
- Some objects in the map moved around.
- Some items moved around.
- Darker ambient light and shadows.
- Fixed a couple jittery textures.
- Adjusted the UV maps of a couple textures.
- Fixed some ugly geometry on the dresser lamp pole.
- Psychedelic secret tunnels texture replaced with blood texture.
- Few more respawn points added.
- New start/end screen camera positions.
- Probably a few other tweaks I'm forgetting about.

This map requires Alpine Faction v1.1 or newer (https://alpinefaction.com) to run.

Bugs:
- Dynamic lights are a bit derpy and won't light meshes, keyframe brushes, and sometimes other random faces depending what angle you are looking at them. Therefore not everything in the map will be lit by the lightning flashes.
- If you have your music volume setting turned all the way down before loading the map, the creepy ambient music won’t play, even if you turn the setting back up after loading the map. It needs to have some volume prior to loading for the music to work.
