As requested by space9h0st, this is a CTF conversion of my Devonian World DM map. (

Changes from the DM version:
- A boulder on each side of the map was enlarged and hollowed out to make a semi protected cave for the flags.
- Exact same spawn and item layout as the DM version except all the spawns were set to red or blue, depending on which half of the map they are on.
- Invulnerability and Damage Amp were replaced with Super Health and Super Armor.
- All the ambient sounds were switched from ogg format to wav format, now that I know ogg sounds won’t always play unless their hearing range covers the whole map. The ranges of some were tweaked.
- Added some dripping amb sound and emitters to the old invulnerability cave. (Now a super health cave)
- Buttons were added to each flag cave, to disable the higher poly decorative trees. Disabling them can give a 40-50fps boost if you need it.
- Buttons were added to each flag cave, to enable the "Prototaxite Spores" flying around everywhere during the day, that was mentioned in the original video the map was based on. I disabled these in the DM map (but had a secret trigger to re enable) because they cause a 30-40fps drop. They look cool though, so now people with beefy computers can enable them if they want.

Original Story for the map:
You're in your personal spaceship, on the way back to Earth from a business trip on Mars. Suddenly you come across a rogue temporal anomaly and your ship is pulled into its intense gravity. When you emerge on the other side, most of your ships systems are dead and you're on a collision course with Earth. No one is answering your hails and Earth looks weird for some reason. You enter the atmosphere and make an emergency crash landing. You survive the crash but your ship is pretty much destroyed. You step out of your ship into an alien looking world, with the skyline dominated by fungal Prototaxites, rather than trees or skyscrapers. You now have a much bigger problem than a broken ship, you have arrived home 400 million years too early. Welcome to Earth's Early Devonian period!
I came across this Kurzgesagt video
https://youtu.be/NYNBAxDfgrY and thought the last setting from 6:40-10:00 would make a cool setting for a map and was somewhat doable in RF, so I gave it a go and this was the result.

Couple notes:
- 3min 30sec into the map it switches to a night-time look.
- Item pickup models for Medical Kit, Suit Repair, Super Health, and Super Armour, have been replaced with "medicinal" plant models I made, to better suit the map.
- This map requires Alpine Faction 1.1 or newer (

- The spaceship model is by Psionic Games, which I made some changes to.

Bugs:
- If you have your music volume setting turned all the way down before loading the map, the background music won’t play, even if you turn the setting back up after loading the map. It needs to have some volume prior to loading for the music to work.
