Original description:
Normally when you drive through the free fire zone before completing the required story missions, you are killed by the EDF Artillery. This mod disables that, allowing you to safely drive to EOS. The artillery shells still spawn, however they now simply float 200m above your head, motionless. The EDF soldiers at the gate will still shoot at you, though that's not a problem.
