Claustrophobopolis is a large arena-style deathmatch map, and is a (nearly) faithful recreation of QuakeWorld's DM2: Claustrophobopolis by American McGee - complete with working traps!

Claustrophobopolis was originally created by American McGee and released in QTest (February 1996), placing this map's original creation sometime in 1995 or early 1996.

This final release uses Alpine Faction's dynamic lights and enhanced teleporters to optimize gameplay.

Plays well, although some of those traps are pretty mean, like turning a teleporter into a death trap. Some buttons though I have no idea what they are doing. The sky is on point but I think a nice touch would have been to animate the water, lava, and portals as well, like they are in Quake. The dynamic lights are nice touch. Overall, good map for game night!

I love traps in this map!

Lots of fun traps and some advanced keyframe work.
