Lunar Castle is a CTF map that RED-FROG originally built for his awesome Eko 1.0 mod. Later, he released an adjusted version of the map as Lunar Castle SE, but had to compromise in many areas because the ability to use custom meshes in base game MP maps was not yet available.

This upload is Lunar Castle ported directly from Eko (with some fixes).

Aside from porting it from Eko to the base game, here are the handful of changes I've made to the map:
- Removed Eko specific items (like the bow pickup)
- Added additional weapons, ammo, health, and armor
- Made some slight item layout tweaks, to better fit RF gameplay
- Added 2 additional spawn points per base
- Added Damage Amp to mid
- Added slight lip to top of mid elevator shaft brushes (so you can walk off the elevator without jumping)
- Applied lighting trick

All the custom textures and custom meshes and the music all really transport you to a new world. Fun just to wander around and check stuff out. Could maybe use a couple more paths to each base, I don't think I was every able to make it further then the middle of the map with a full game night server.
