About The Mod

This is a balance mod package that I made for the singleplayer campaign (as well as some custom SP campaigns) to try and address some of the difficulty spikes and unfair bits and make them more fair.

In general, apart from balance changes to make harder difficulties more fair, the mod also makes bullet weapons more accurate comparable to their MP counterparts, which makes the gameplay more rewarding for players with good aim. This mod also makes Rail Driver enemies no longer one-shot you.

To see the exact changes, see the Readme files inside each of the folders


-All bullet weapons, except for the sniper rifle, have less spread comparable to their MP counterparts.
-Rail Driver deals much less damage, and AI will no longer one-shot you (except for maybe impossible difficulty).
-Some dangerous and annoying enemies like HMG mercenaries and snipers are slightly nerfed depending on the mapset.
-Homing projectiles have reduced homing characteristics to make it easier to dodge them.
-[RF Classic/PS2 TC only] All vehicles have their rotational acceleration/velocity changed back to PC version counterparts.


For the playing this mod with main campaign, just place the "ReaperBalance" folder inside the mods folder and then run the mod.

For the playing this mod with custom SP campaign, firstly make sure that you have that SP campaign installed.
Then to install this balance addon mod, place the .vpp file from the appropriate folder from this package to the SP mod's folder in the game and then just play the mod.
To remove the balance mod, just delete the .vpp file from the SP mod folder.
