Take the remnants of the Mercenary force head-on in seven action-packed levels. The story picks up after the last scene of Red Faction. The EDF is transporting Miners by the bulk back to Earth in spaceships termed as 'Battleships'. One of the smallest of the fleet, the EDF Unity, is transporting Parker back to Earth. But all is not well. The Unity's engines have suffered a malfunction and it is stranded on the far side of Earth's moon. Parker is toured around the ship, then sent to investigate the mysterious failure . . .
