This pack for level designers contains an assortment of 1869 textures from Red Faction II, sorted and named appropriately for use in Red Faction (1) custom maps. Most of these textures fit extremely well into Red Faction's aesthetic and visual themes, so I expect they'll be really handy in creating custom maps that match stock RF themes.

I've gone through and assigned the appropriate material prefixes to them all, compiled vbms where required, and sorted them into folders that mirror RED's texture browser categories (plus a propskins folder that contains some textures that didn't fit anywhere else).

To install the textures in this pack, follow these instructions:

Step 1: Extract whichever textures you wish to have access to via RED to your RedFaction\user_maps\textures folder.
Step 2: Close and reopen the level editor (via the "Level Editor" button in the Dash Faction Launcher).
Step 3: Open the texture browser and go to the Custom category to find your new textures. All of these textures contain the string "grf2" in their filename, so you may want to put that in the filter text box to quickly bring all of them up.

If you use any of these textures in your map, they'll automatically be packed with your map by RED when you create a packfile.
