The Red Faction Playstation 2 demo ported to the PC version of Red Faction.

This PS2 demo was distributed free of cost to Red Faction fans prior to the PS2 release of the game and contains a short single player campaign full of cut content.

Map 1: A guard training facility where you use a rocket turret to destroy the environment and mow down waves of guards determined to end your rampage.
Map 2: A icy submarine bay with a miner warming his hands over a flaming oil drum and an icy tunnel with an enemy submarine and beta version of the sea creature enemy.
Map 3: A beta version of L3S4 - a stroll through an Ultor docking facility ending with a battle against a massive Ultor drone.

Highlights:
- 2 maps which never appeared in the final game at all, and a beta version of 1 map which did
- Voice lines from Hendrix, the PA Announcer, and Ultor guards prior to their voice actors being finalized
- Animations, textures, and meshes that were cut from the final game


To play this mod, extract the "ps2demo" folder to your RedFaction\mods directory, launch the game with the ps2demo mod, and start a new game.
