Introduction
--------------

This is a mod of a mod, specifically the Protracted Rebellion Mod by Tichondrius.It aims to add new features to Protracted Rebellion without unbalancing the core gameplay.

What it Does
--------------

The most important thing it does is adds Jakkars extensive overall of the

physics engine. This means:
• Building Collapses greatly improved.
• Explosions do more realistic damage to buildings
• Vehicle ramming overhauled
• Firearm recoil overhauled.
• Hammers building damage toned down to be slightly more realistic.

I’ve also integrated the Small Arms Ballistics and Player Squad mod by Sturm-Falke101 into the mod and tweaked them to make them to play nicer with Protracted Rebellion.

(I don't recommend using Small Arms Ballistics, as it tends to overload the physics engine during heavy firefights, resulting in a delay when things explode. But I decided to include it anyway if anyone wants to try it out, and you can deactivate it easily without affecting your save file).

I’ve also added a range of other miscellaneous options to the mod so players can alter the game to fit their tastes, including being able to set the moral bonus and penalties.

Installation Instructions
---------------------------

0. If you haven’t already, download and install the RFG Mod Manager:

1. Download Protracted Rebellion Mod, and extract it into your mods folder.

2. Download Protracted Rebellion: Extended, and extract it into your mods folder, overriding modinfo.xml.

3. Open your mod manager, load the Protracted Rebellion Extended mod and you’re good to go.

Uninstall Instructions
------------------------

If you’d like to uninstall the mod, simply extract the original Protracted Rebellion mod into your mods folder, override modinfo.xml and skip all the other file conflicts.

IMPORTANT: Singularity Bombs in Locker
----------------------------------------------

Here's how to get Singularity Bombs in the Weapon Locker:
1. Activate the Protracted Rebellion Extended mod and set the "Singularity Bombs in Cabinet" option to "no".

2. Play the game as normal, and when you find a singularity bomb keep it equipped, save and exit the game.

3. Re-activate the mod with "Singularity Bombs in Cabinet" option to "yes".

4. Play the game again, you'll notice that there are two Singularity Bomb slots in the locker now, but one of them is blank when you try to equip it.

5. Un-equip the singularity bomb you have and press "yes" when the game asks you if you want to discard your singularity bombs. There should now be one Singularty Bomb slot in the cabinet until you re-equip it, and the second one will-re-appear. Whenever you un-equip the singularity bomb it will ask you if you want to discard the bomb. just ignore this message as the bomb doesn't disappear.

6. Keep playing the game with the "Singularity Bombs in Cabinet" option to "yes". If you'd like to temporarily deactivate the Protracted Rebellion the mod, activate the "Standalone Singularity Bomb in Cabinet" mod included in this pack, so you don't lose the singularity bombs when you save.


NOTE: I tested this in the Steam Version of Red Faction Guerilla, and while it should work in the Windows Live version of the game I can't make any guarentees.

Great mod pack, one of two contenders for the title in my opinion, with Ethical Faction being the other one:

So, I'd like to know: Is it possible to make Jakkar's Realism and Sturm-Falke's Player Squad mods compatible with Ethical Faction? I personally prefer it over Protracted Rebellion, specifically because of the Depth-of-Field effect, the new weapons/weapon changes and the bigger barrel/canister explosions.

That would be my ultimate RFG modpack. :D
