This map has proven to be a culmination of many hours of hard work, creativity and originality. Thanks to the help of a very good friend we have been able to achieve this goal, the goal of a map that is extremely detailed, a map that is subtle yet very stunning, map that is beautiful yet real. Doing all this but not having to sacrifice quality and gamplay.

Through the help of a friend whom I have never met and lives practically a world away from me, we have been able to conjure a map that we can honestly say is like no other, and stands out from all maps we have ever made for Red Faction.

An old country manor that is riddled with many secrets and clever ways of getting around with some very nice touches along the way.

Taking roughly 6 Month\'s worth of VPP-tennis between the 2 of us We had tons of fun coming up with a lot of the ideas for this map, making suitable textures and finding sounds. A lot of work has gone into this both in and out of the RED editor, trying to bring as much realism as possible into the game. 2 mappers both with skills in different areas of mapping, combining to bring you some real quality work in all areas. We hope that you have as much fun in the level as we did in creating it, it is about as close to real life as we could imagine with the use of the Editor. The texture work is beautiful and the ambient sounds makes it feel like a classic haunted mansion. I love all the little hidden secrets and passageways scattered throughout the map as well. Only complaint is that the doors hit you as you open them and the map can feel somewhat claustrophobic. Otherwise it's still a pretty fun experience.

The tight hallways occasionally make for some extremely close quarters combat, which isn't for everyone. Aside from that though, this map is simply incredible. I'd absolutely recommend checking it out!
