FactionFiles - View Thread

Hey Red Faction players, I've worked really hard on my Official MalvernX arcade era.

MalvernX (so far) includes 3 all-new team-based game types:

-King of the Hill
-Invasion
-Domination

They're alot of FUN! Please download and try it out! I'll guarantee you'll enjoy playing.=D

Hey there regarding about ur MalvernX mod.. some sounds at some weapons doesnt work... like the submachine gun doesnt have reload sound or while shooting for example.. any problem ?

Hmmm. That's odd. None of my testers had this problem. Are you running Pure Faction? Try running it through Pure Faction. Do you have other files in the mods folder that may interfere with the mod files. Figure out what might be the problem in the folders or keeping trying it again. Make sure the mod is fully up and running.

Of course im using Pure Faction since it was been created lol .. but still not working ..the mod is just only one vpp file ,right?

Yeah, it should be in the mods folder in the Red Faction directory. One folder MalvernX with the .vpp file MalvernX inside of that folder. I don't know what the problem is man. =( Hmm... Send me screenshots of how you installed it or where it is, if possible.

Well i just downloaded and extracted the archive into ,,mods'' files from the RF directory ..the vpp files are in they're current folders like it was supposed to.. then i loaded once a mod for example MalvernX into PureFaction Launcher.. mods run well but sounds ..nada...

About MetalGear Faction .. only the precision rifle and Fusion-RL doesnt have sound..(the reloads has.) the rest are cool.

I see I see. So maybe there's something wrong with the sound codecs on your computer or something because sadly you're the only one experiencing this problem. Glad you like the mods so far though. What operating system are you using?
