Welcome to HiSpeed 3
Terrorists have hijacked a maglev train heading towards the main city. They plan to crash the train into the cities central train station and cause havok to citizens and the structure unless Parker is released from federal prison on Mars.
Attackers - Red Team - You have been tasked to stop the terrorists (Blue Team) from controlling the train. You will need to make your way from the back of the train all the way to the front and stop the train by any means nessasary.
Objective 1 - Clear the cargo - The terrorists have placed a Cargo container infront of the doors leading to Car 004, you will need to access the crane controls and move the Cargo container up in order to progress.
Objective 2 - Get to the front of the train - Car 001 - On the top level of the locomotive, there is a panel that will grant you access to the control cabin. This button must be pressed first to access the cabin to stop the train.
Defenders - Blue Team - You are the terrorists. Your main priority is to stop the Red Team from advancing to the front of the train. Use any tatics you can to defend the train and complete your goal of making a statement to the world. Perhaps the world will listen and release parker if you are successful, it would be enough to spark public interest that it would demand the government to step in and take action. Parker is needed to lead the rebels on Mars into victory. He was captured by Ultor and is being held prisoner, possibly experiemented on by Ultor himself to create an army of mutants.

Hi Speed 3 is the 3rd installment and improved map to the predecessors Hi Speed 1 and Hi Speed 2. The map was made originally in Unreal Tournament 1999 Edition as an Assualt map.
This improved version still has the same features of an Assault map where one team has an objective to complete and the other team defend the objective and stop the other team from completing the objective.
This map involves a Maglev train travelling at the fastest speed it can go. The map is linear (One way and straight) but with multiple options of progression and defence. The train has 2 levels in it - Ground Floor and Level 1 - Including access to the roof (3 Levels in total). The train is carrying Cargo at the back and passenger cars near the front - 2nd and 1st class. The car at the front is the locomotive, where the engine is kept and the driver cabin is found at the very front of the train.
There are ladders to access the roof and upper levels of the cars. There is also some ventilation systems that can be crawled through to sneak past your enemies, or suprise them.
Car 003 contains the spawning location for the Blue Team and cannot be accessed by the Red Team to prevent spawn killing. Red Team spawn at the back of the entire train, but also have a dynamic spawn. If the Red Team successfully secure Car 004, it will become a new spawn point for them to help in the progression.
