I like the vita too, but the name is sorta retarded. So im just gonna keep saying the psp2 for now.

seriously though it's got nice hardware specs (well, maybe compared to smartphones of a year or two ago...) but the form factor is just stupid

I got rid of my PSP 3000 within two weeks of buying it, and laughed/cried when I saw the PSP go came out.

All I'm saying is that the vita has potential. I wouldn't be surprised if it's gay as fuck..but if it pwns then I'll definitely be looking to buy it.

imo the only saving grace the psp had was the homebrew stuff (which sony tried to block anyway)

The homebrew always involved a fuckton of downgrading firmware, finding tools that worked properly, and dealing with the many (MANY) bugs that came with these problems. The controls also made it nearly worthless for once the said homebrew app/game was actually on the system.
